The Copper Rail Depot Saloon and the 1:24 Historic Railroad Models Project! "Near the confluence of the Copper and Klutina Rivers, this small saloon is adjacent to the Klutina River--a world-class King Salmon fishing river." A large number of historic framed photos of the CRNW Railway are also on display.

Copper River & Northwestern Railway.
"This is a photo-journal of the Copper River & Northwestern Railway, 1908
to 1938, Cordova, AK to Kennecott, AK, 196 miles. This was the first railroad from
an Alaskan port into the interior (of Alaska), and was built by the same
engineer and contractor who together constructed the White Pass & Yukon out of Skagway.
Until now, no information on the CRNWRY has existed on the web. This site includes a large section on Kennecott Copper of Alaska--the owners of the railway, and the reason the railroad existed. Photos of a
developing G-scale historic model railway are included. I have found no
other model railroad in this scale which has gone to the degree of this
particular one in re-creating history (in very large structures)." Ron Simpson.

The Alaska Central Railroad Company, Inc. is a brand new railway
company with plans to build an 86 mile railroad from Wasilla,Alaska to
Tyonek, Alaska. The purpose is to provide access to 2 billion tons of
coal and 2 projected ports. Watch for news of us, we are excited about
our project and its future. We have no web-page yet, but watch out.
